Vilarta has a cleaning and disinfection point for animal transport vehicles, for both the company’s own vehicles and those of other companies.

This is a homologated cleaning and disinfection centre which therefore complies with the Order of 2 August 2001, which established standards for registration in the Official Registry of pest control establishments and services, cleaning and disinfection centres for animal transport vehicles, and regulates their functioning.

There is an area for the dry cleaning of the vehicles and another for washing with pressure hoses and to apply disinfectants. There are containers for the storage of dry waste and a tank for storage of liquid waste.

When the vehicles have been cleaned seals are put on them to evidence their proper cleaning and disinfection.
