Vilarta has a fleet of cattle trucks which are used to transport the animals.

This service arose from the need to offer greater speed in the movement of the cattle and to guarantee their hygiene and welfare.

Our transport vehicles meet all the conditions required in Council Regulation (EC) No 1/2005 of 22 December 2004 on the protection of animals during transport and related operations. The vehicles are fitted with forced ventilation, insulated roofs, non-slip flooring, drinkers, etc., in order to offer the animals transported the best possible conditions.

In addition, all the Vilarta, S.A. transport personnel have the relevant certificate of competence for transport with this type of vehicle, as required in the same Council Regulation (EC) No 1/2005 of 22 December 2004.
